Thank You Letter

Dear Lane,

I’d like to thank you for hiring me this fall to join in your campaign team. I have learned a lot from your instruction and explanation and I appreciate your patience and friendliness.

As a foreigner, I have more questions and problems than other interns. You are always nice and you always help me in time. I want to say that I have a good time with you. Thank you very much!

Best regards,
Daihan Cheng

What were the most important things you learned from this internship? Look back to your first blog post. Did you meet your initial goals? Why or why not?

The most things I have learned from the internship are about the campaign works in the USA. In my first blog post, I notice that my goals are: improving my English speaking and listening skills, having a better understanding about campaign; and balancing well with my study and intern. I think I meet these goals that I have nice conversations with my supervisor and other coworkers. In our dialogue, they help me to correct my grammatical mistakes and encourage me constantly. In addition, I think I make a good balance between the internship and my study. I can integrate my working experience with knowledge from the class, to improve both my work and study.

Free Write 11- Beautiful Winter

The last day when I chatted with my teacher in my undergraduate school in China, she told me that the whole campus had turned to yellow!!! Winter is coming, so that all the leaves turned yellow or red, especially gingko trees! They are soooooo beautiful!

Free Write 10- Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving Day is quite new for us. In China, there are no two days off to celebrate this festival. However, we also want to say thank you to people who helped us or people who we love.

I want to say thanks to my parents. I am their only child and they give me a lot of love. This is my second year not in company with them. I miss them soooooooo much!
