A Typical Day at My Internship

Because I am working with finance assistance, my major task is to contact with donors and invite them to some great events to meet congresswoman Ann, and encourage them to consider a contribution to help the campaign work. It is a very nice position because I can have a very flexible working schedule according to my coursework and I can practice my English in the interaction with donors and my coworkers.

Just as today, at 9:45 AM, my supervisor picked me up at my home and we went together to the mail house as volunteers helping printing mails to donors.

After that, we went to the office in Phoenix and continued our work. My main task was to make a phone call with donors in the list to support the campaign works. In addition, I also had to update numbers which are labeled as disconnected #, wrong # or even no # in the first round of phone calls. Furthermore, I helped my supervisor with mailing works.

I really enjoy the free and happy environment in our working office. I hope I can learn more about campaign works in the future.
